We have seen the electorate divided, packed and cracked, and Gerrymandered into irrelevance. Our votes don’t matter as much as our influence on the fractious two American political parties, and even there minority voices standing for common sense are squashed to make way for alarmists, sycophants, and outright liars.

THE THIRD PARTY WOULD…

…Support candidates on their known merits, not their subscription to one ideology or the other.

…Build politics of ideas, not identity, since we’ve seen how their proscribed identities divide, instead of unite us.

…Foster dialogue centered on the shared imagination for a greater American future by acknowledging facts and not just ideals as our shared American legacy.

BUT HOW WOULD IT WORK?

The core idea is this: Each candidate posts their platform, then their actions are tracked by the party. If the platform or the actions are contradictory to the stated aims of the platform or ideals…if the party-sponsored candidate is a liar, they will not remain in the party.

There will be other tests, surely, and we need your informed voice to join the executive committee required before this organization gets off the ground.
